Two EGS says an awful lot to me so I'm going to keep mine brief & first thank Chrissy & Tobias for their EGS. Well done Tina for the win. As I've already mentioned, I do keep stats & the Opening & Endings, of this game, are added. The following will take you to that part of my site, ALB & GSB, http://www.alb-gsb.com/diplomacy/stats/stats.htm

Right, this game has ended & is now archived.

FRANCE : Chris Carter
The game was slightly spoiled for me by the email problems at the GM. Emails I sent were not received and I was given a 'NMR' - this set me back at a crucial stage of the game. It was subsequently explained to me that I could have copied my orders to another GM - it's a shame that this guideline is not clearly shown on the Dip2000 website. But I suppose this sort of thing one just has to learn by experience. (But it would be a shame for a newbie to be banned if this type of email problem happened twice).

Otherwise the game was ok.

Thanks Chrissy

I say congratulations to however survied, won or drawed this game. My EGS is sent in before any such thing have accured as my visit to the game was very short. In one of my first emails (to Austria) I fund the following line, I think that conclueds my doom:

"Well, northen or southen game, that is the question."

I played a bit of both and since the game evolved to a east against west game instead, or perhapse west against the rest, my fate was to go amogst the first. I reliesed this when two German armies came my way fall 01. After that it was downhill all the way. All my attepts to get England/France and Germany to fight each others failed. And that was goodbye to this game.

One last note. Alot of people thought I opened strange. I donīt think there was anything wrong with my opening considering the information I had revieved pre-spring 1901. I played after that information and there really isnīt much else to do.

Last I would also like to thank Ally for GM.

Tobias
