ITALY (Scott McKeen) This was my first game on Dip 2000, and despite a good start, the game unravelled after 1902 as first Germany and the England went into anarchy. Finally, France and Russia, who benefitted the most tactically and materially from the anarchies, stopped playing. My sincere apologies to Dylan Lake of Austria, who I helped cripple with my Italian units for taking you out of the game. You, at least, seemed to want to play. Thanks to Mark Rogers for sharing victory by simlpy not quitting; and thanks to Ally for putting in the effort in what proved to be a futile cause. As for the rest of you . . . !Return to Top
TURKEY (Mark Rodgers) The Sultan offers warm congratulations to the government of Rome. A day of rejoicing in the Ottoman Empire. Soldiers are instructed to show mercy to the despondent and confused Russian forces they are mopping up.Return to Top
GM (Ally Bain) All I can say is, thanks to Austria, Italy & Turkey & obviously the later two for the draw.
To the other, all have been grey-listed.
Not sure if I've told you but the endings have been added to the stats I'm doing; http://mysite.freeserve.com/alb_gsb/diplomacy/stats/normalendings.htm.
See you on the board.
