CLOWN LOACH - Spring 1904
GM Ally Bain
Germany is still spreading their wings, which isn't good for Russia. I think France will thank the Germans as they miss-ordered in Portugal but Italy was unable to get into the Mid-Atlantic Ocean, which meant no Italian army in Spain.

Austria is having a big problem however Turkey convoyed to Greece.

PRESS

Ber-Con: Sorry, but I never could resist a good party. Care to split a bottle of Chianti (or two)?

Ber-French Govt: Good to see you back with us. Any chance that we could resume diplomatic ties?

Ber-Russian Govt: Am willing to trade second growth French wine for Russian caviar. If you are interested, please let me know the barter rate.

Con-French Govt: Go away before I taunt you a second time!

Con-Ber: Do Italians work cheap? I could use some help myself.

Con-Rom: Second place?

Con-Russian Govt: And they call *us* the juggernaut!

ALB: I've censored certain 'press' therefore I've paste/copy the rules for 'press':

Press

Press releases for publication alongside the game are welcome and may be conditional on that season's moves. The GM will have a reserved dateline which may not be used by the players. The names of the seven capitals - Vie, Lon, Par, Ber, Rom, StP, Con followed by "(Govt.)" - or the seven Powers followed by "(Govt.)" are reserved for the players concerned.

The last sentence means you can't submit a 'press' using a capital that isn't in your country or another country with Govt behind it.

On another subject, will you let me know your holiday breaks at Xmas as we don't want to be caught up with no diplomacy if you are on holiday.

Autumn 1904 deadline: 19:00 GMT, 12th December 2002.
