I was right; Turkey did end up with the upper hand. At least I now know why Italy was spreading them but I think Austria would have preferred them to go the other way & equally wished his boat had not been fixed.
Germany has plodded into Belgium & it looks like England had decided where to plod. I wonder if France thinks England is a plod?

Branko Maksimovic, a 48 year old turnip farmer, traveled more than 100 miles for a chance to see his new emperor. "When the Austro-Hungarian Empire annexed Greece last year, we worried that Serbia might be passed over." the farmer admitted. "Now we see that Serbia is included in Francis Joseph's plans. As the empire grows, we too will prosper."
