France convoyed to Wales but the English did get Sweden.

Lon: In my first dip2000 game the GM used to sign off his emails with 'Why play to win when you can play to annoy people'. I think this is a very healthy attitude in a game like diplomacy which can bogged down in seriousness in what is meant to be a fun game. In other news I still hold the record amongst my friends for highest percentage of failed dice rolls in one session. Yay! Losing can be fun as long as you go down in a blaze of glory and don't just sit there waiting for the help that will never come.
Lon-English Navy: Don't forget to write.
Par-ALB: Happy birthday on May 4th. Don't worry about age. The older you get, the wiser you'll be, and 40 is not really old age anyway - I hope…
ALB-Par: As said in my reply to yourself, I hope you have a good 40th tomorrow. ;-)
Ber-StP: "Sorry, I listened to the whispers and believed....."
Ber: "The Kaiser is pleased to visit Whitby Bay and looks forward to sampling the famous oysters, local residents should present themselves along the road side to applaud the Kaiser's motorcade as it passes. Special flags of the new design will be handed out prior to this special event. Locals will be no doubt pleased to know that a small inset of the Union flag will be incorporated into the new flag of the Greater Germanic Northern British Isles. It will also no doubt be a relief to the locals that Fish and Chip shops will no longer be licensed to serve fish. All current purveyors of fried fish will be invited to a retraining centre to enable conversion to sell battered Schnitzel. All such shops will now be known as Schnitzel und kartoffelen. Long live the Kaiser.
