PEACOCK GOBY - Spring 1904
GM Ally Bain
Will Germany like the French moves? Looks like the only thing England is bothered about is Russia.

Italy supported Austria but not good in their west. Turkey, with help, moved some units around.

PRESS

ALB: I've been asked to submit a couple of End Game Proposals (EGP) however one of them, to me, is frivolous therefore not included but this one is included; France/Germany/Italy three-way draw. You MUST vote as failure to do so means your vote is classed as 'yes'. In case you don't know, your vote MUST come with your orders, etc.

Vie Govt: In the words of Arnie, "I'll be back!"

Ber Govt-Par Govt: The Kaiser looks forward to your explanation of this latest 'excursion' with considerable interest. I am sure there will be a plausible explanation, however given your firm commitment the Kaiser takes a dim view of the implications of this.

StP Govt: This is the sum of the communications the Russian Tsar has received this season: from his friend and ally the Sultan, communications diverse and interesting. From the Italian Pope, bullying mails demanding to know who told the Tsar that Italy had shared his plans (which France and Germany know is a group that includes them - indeed, all bar the mutes are in it) and threatening to puppet for the Kaiser (who has enough puppets to run a regular Punch and Judy show). From the Kaiser one gloating email and no further response (well, why bother when you are attacking, hey?. Throw courtesy out of the window.). From the French president, one line. From the Austrian Archduke, nothing. Not a word. Not even "Hi, I'm alive". From the English prime minister, nothing. Maybe you guys are getting your fun out of it (although what possible joy the game can be bringing Austria is beyond me) but it's practically gunboat, and not a good game of gunboat at that. The Tsar repeats his belief that in a game that revolves around communication, the mute is the worst of sinners. For a player like the Tsar, who is no wizard at the tactical game, the fun is leached out of the game by them.

StP Govt-Rom Govt: Faced with a Germany who has a compliant French puppet, and one of the worst Englands ever to disgrace a Diplomacy board to aid him along, I will not stab my only hope of survival. Puppet for Germany all you like, for what satisfaction it gives you, but nothing will compel me otherwise than to offer Turkey every support while he remains friendly to me.
