I'm Ally Bain & as you know I'm your GM for this game. By being neutral I'm able to answer any questions as long as they don't upset my status in the game.

My son & I have a number of tropical freshwater fish tanks & therefore I've called this game 'Rocket Killifish' as it's a common name for a fish. Rocket Killifish, Pseudoepiplatys (or Epiplatys) annulatus as their scientific name, is in the Aplocheilidae family. They're wee delicate killifish that is abundant in the wild & therefore often available in wild-caught shipments from West Africa. It does best when fed regularly with artemia and other small livefoods; fry will often grow up alongside their parents. Future maps will have a picture of one.

The e-mail addresses shown are those sent to me by Dip2000. If you wish to use another account you must tell me via the one shown below. May I equally say that some of you have a different address I've previously been using. If you have changed to this, use the COMMANDS button on Dip2000 & tell Dip2000 of your change.

Within a handful of days you must submit this seasons orders. The reason being that if I don't receive orders from one or more players, the game will be delayed until they've been replaced.

As I'm sure you know sadly during games, people often NMR. I would ask that you consider how long games last and if you feel you can't continue playing for that period of time, I would ask that you to notify me. As an example, I would think the game will last for half a year.

The Deadline is 5pm (GMT), 19th December 2006.

In your e-mails to me, please state (in the Subject) the name of the game, your country & the season in question, e.g. Rocket Killifish - Germany - S01. The reason behind that is it saves me time as I do GM a number of games & often I can't remember the exact game, country, etc.

Diplomacy 2000 houserules, http://www.lancedal.demon.co.uk/dip2000/diprules/diprules.htm, apply except the following:

1. End Game Proposals (EGP) aren't allowed until after A05. After A05, the only EGPs shown will be a fair reflection on the state of the board. If it isn't, I'll not display it. When EGP are shown, players must submit together with their orders, etc, their vote. Failure to vote equals 'yes' to the EGP.

2. I'll allow a proxy however there is a time limit & no proxy can last longer than two years which is four seasons. After the proxy the original player MUST play or that country will NMR & then perhaps go into Anarchy.
