In a plea for world peace at this Holiday season, Archduke Rod, aka The Handsome Habsburg, delivered a rousing and applause filled speech here in Vienna yesterday. The riveting speech, which our fearless leader wrote himself, had Vienna's citezenry enthralled and cheering for most of the quickly paced four hour spectacle. The passionate leader asked the leaders of Europe whether, "we had all tasted the insane root that takes reason a prisoner?" The speech was clearly aimed at the warmongering and backward nations of the non germanic speaking peoples and was broadcast on wireless to Radio Free Russia. Hooza for Archduke Rod. No doubt the British will be filling the pages of the Damned press, with its Holly Martinsesque prose. Violence may be the only thing that will make Sir Wordsworth see any sense droogie. We regret to inform you that the Peace Department has rejected your request for a video of naval manuevers. Unlike Austria which has embedded reporters covering military action in all theaters for a daily rag, England does not authorize such coverage. The crown does authorize the embedding of reporters, yet those voluptuous females serve exclusively at and for the pleasure of the diplomatic corps. It is possible that video of such nocturnal manuevers is available; however, official sources disclaim any knowledge of same. Reporters from the Sun suggest that you might engage in such commerce through the acclaimed Austrian site run by the illustrious Archduke Werner.

Lon-Ven:
As your land sinks slowly into the water, we warn you not to seek refuge on Austrian boats, which have yet to lift anchor to set out for sea. We quibble with your assertion that the boats will sink. It is unlikely that landed boats will sink into water. It is more likely that the boats will rot and rust as they await the rising of the waters around them. Then the Austrian engineers who design them will mutter that the lead used in the hulls was of inferior quality. Oh my! Just like the Austrian architects who design beautiful buildings without proper supports. Or Austrian archdukes that order fleets to support inland territories. What a waste of words.
