Oslo Press
With the support of the British Army the Danish princeling ascends the newly revived Norwegian Throne as King Haakon. The new state is not recognised by the formerly Swedish overlords. However, as they are groaning under the oppressive rule of the German Empire the Swedes are powerless to intervene. The first act of the new king is to change the name of the capital from the Swedish name of Christiana to Oslo.

THE RUSSIAN PRESS
It appears that Italy and Turkey have decided to cease fighting, or even attempting to defend their nations. But then again, it could be that everybody else has simply decided to make their military maneuvers before the Italian and Turkish commanders knew what was coming. So the two nations stood their grounds admirably! Russian soldiers have decided to take advantage of this apparent lack of interest, and are working towards liberating some Turkish territories.

In the meantime, the battle with the Fatherland still moves forward, while a Russian fleet in St Petersburg still defends the isolated English army in Norway. Rumor has it, among the English soldiers, that there is no home for them to return to after the fighting. It is sad, but we believe the rumors are true! Hopefully, someone will soon be able to help them establish their own in the world. Mother Russia is certainly doing what she is able.
