The Russian Press:
Czar Donald has been negotiating peace with Germany and Turkey. However, the German and Turkish leaders are not interested in peace at this time. Russia's petition for peace with the German empire has fallen on deaf ears. The Kaiser is simply interested in expanding his territory, and does not value the friendships it has cost him. Mother Russia feels that this is bad form, very bad form! The Sultan has only agreed to form an alliance if we attack our true friends and give Rumania back to his oppressive dictatorship. However, this is not in Mother Russia's best interest. In all likelihood, the Sultan would have used any added resources to increase his attacks upon Russian soil. Mother Russia feel very good about NOT handing Rumania over to the Sultan. Instead,we have fleets and armies attempting to defend our sovereign nation. We are also preparing to liberate oppressed peoples from tyrannic rule.

In an unprecedented gesture of goodwill, Russia has decided to attempt to restore peace on the Scandinavian peninsula by lending support to England. Mother Russia is unsure of how her goodwill will be received by her surrounding neighbors, but she is hopeful that things will bode well for her in the longrun. German forces descended upon Norway and the isolated British forces stationed there. The German K-9 division attacked. With the Brits about to give up all hope of rescue, the Germans retreated. Amazed and confused, the British commander turned around to notice the entire Russian army standing behind him, ready for a fight. At that point, the Russian K-9 Brigade, armed with trained white wolves stepped forward. Russian soldiers could only smile at the smaller canines running back to Germany. It seems the howl heard in the distance warned them of the approaching disaster. German soldiers were heard screaming "B-B-B-IG DOGS! B-B-B-B-B-BIG DOGS! B-B-B-B-B--B-BIG DOGGIES!" The German high command chastised the troops stating, "You've confronted troops on horseback before?" The defeated commander explained "But Sir, they weren't on HORSEback. They were riding the DOGS!"

In other news, in a multi-cultural exchange, Russian Army cooks traded their famous potato pancakes for Italian Pasta. The Russian Soldiers enjoyed the feast so much that they escorted the Italian Army into Serbia. Commenting on the incident, a Field Marshall was quoted saying, "We were happy to assist our good friends, the Italians, to victory". A certain private, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said, "I am much too full to march anyway". He then departed for another helping of ravioli and cheese.
