Paris Press:
Diplomats from Rome loose important message requesting the use of the roads through the southern Alps. In today's news Italy has put up quite a stink about the French presence in Piedmonte. What can we say? We did ask nicely. Vacations for other French units have been cancelled on fears of the Italian fleet mobilizing.

In other news, French army units have stated a goal to surround Switzerland and make it surrender. Establishment of the seige line is underway.

Rus-All:
The Official Muscovite Monthly reports that Czar Doug was left standing at the church waiting for the daughter of King Jonathan, in anticipation of a marriage that could have brought peace to a large portion of Europe. Rumours abound.
