PRESS Andy-All: Please don't forget the retreats and BUILDS for Autumn 1908. Andy-All: Please can you all remember to label your orders with the game name - Your power - and the season the orders are for. Rus-All: Russia: The Official Muscovite Monthly has has closed it's Warsaw office due to social upheavel. Par-All: Paris Press: Summer travellers began swarming into Italian villas in anticipation of peace in this region and the movement of the French fleet eastward. On some trains there was standing room only. The citizens of Tunis look on with concern as the battle front nears. There is open talk asking how they could be left so vulnerable with the massive French fleet so near. New volunteers from home have signed up to push this conflict to its sensible conclusion. Demands for the Turkish surrender of the Ionian Sea to our control have been issued once again and this time will be backed by force. Tur-All: The Turkish navy's expansion requires additional trained sailors. If any French admirals remember how to swab the deck, we may have a position for you. Note to the mapmaker - it is a real shame my expeditionary army won't be permitted to move from NAf to Spa. Maybe an English fleet will accommodate me? Note to tourism board: our fleet maneuvers in the Black Sea have been completed. Vacationing Austrians and Russians will be safe on the beaches of Rum and Sev, respectively. English and French tourists not. Andy-All: Thank you to all our contributers for the press, the rest of you could help them? Also apologies to the two people who sent in EGP, under the tournament rules they are not allowed. Now I know there has been an understanding reached in another game but I don't believe the same thing applies here so I intend to stick to the rules. AUTUMN 1908 DEADLINE: 09:00 GMT, Friday 19th May, 2006.
