GREAT FLEET SAILS WEST!!

The Great Fleet, pride of the Austrian Naval yards in Trieste, has finally set sail from it's year-and-a-half posting in Greece to join a combined effort, alongside Italian naval forces, to put a stop to the growing French threat in the Mediterranean. Aboard the Flagship 'Hapsburg', a common sailor was quoted to say, "I will miss Greece. We had a wonderful stay this past year, but we were denied liberty passes while docked in Athens this winter. I've been polishing my cannon for months, and now we will finally see some real fighting. I also look forward to working alongside the Italians. I even learned to say, "Do you have a sister, Luigi?"

The English forces make extra push to take German held assets. The people of Holland line the streets to meet the supporting English troops. Premier Woolfenden expresses his thanks to the Glorious French forces for their continued support. Premier Woolfenden says ' Now that this foothold is secured we shall sweep through the German lands and focus our attention on the issues of Austria. This is a country which has given several false indicators of support and who's secret services are infamous for their deeds. Premier Woolfenden further stated his concern about Italy. They need to reflect upon where they stand in the international stakes rather than just 'standing'. England would welcome them to join then them in England's determination to rid Europe of the Austrians.

Rome says, The Pope has announce that in henceforth the sabbath will be observed on Thursday. Good Friday will be on Tuesday and all the other dates will be appropriately moved.

OPENING OF RUSSIAN FOREIGN PRESS DEPARTMENT A GREAT SUCCESS!

In Moscow today the Foreign Minister proudly opened the countries first Press Department. He announced "We will now have a greater voice in Europe" he was also heard to say that "Europe will also benefit by having a window on the workings of our glorious Empire." When asked about delays in getting the telegraph on-line all the minister would concede was that there were 'inter-departmental disagreements'.

In other news, the Moscow pigeon-postal service hope to break the Guinness Record for the worlds largest pigeon pie. Managers said that workers could not hide their 'tears of joy' at the site of the enormous pastry encased parcel.

+STOP PRESS+ Information Minister Sergey Opatov has just announced that military successes across Europe will soon result in Russian victory. When asked about reports of foreign Army movements in Armenia, Rumania, Galicia & Silesia and of Foreign Fleets in the Black Sea, he said that these were "totally untrue" and were "vicious rumours started by enemies of the Empire" +END+

Guy's, the press this week has been truly great and I thank all that have contributed. To Those of you that haven't why not? As I'm sure your beginning to see Press adds another level to the game and apart from being hugely enjoyable it is another weapon in the arsenal of a good diplomat! Don't be worried in you don't receive any order confirmation between Tuesday and the weekend as that's when I'm in hospital, however if you haven't received anything from me by Monday then please resend them!:-))
