PRESS Russian Govt' Press Release: The Tsar had great praise for the various heads of State for Turkey, England and France. Proclaiming that Europe will "know a new age of peace" with the elimination of the "Central Scourge", a phrase referring to the Austro-German-Italian alliance. Unnamed sources close to the Tsar claim that behind closed doors the Tsar has been very apologetic to not only his old friend Emperor David of France but particularly to his new allies, King Lloyd of England and Sultan Geerten of the Ottoman Empire, as the Tsar has recognized that his decision to bolster both Germany and Austria in the early years of the War was a mistake as both foolishly and opportunistically betrayed that aid by attacking Mother Russia, in the Tsar's own words he declared, "...I have laid with harlots and am ashamed...". It is reported by insiders familiar with the Tsar that of particular embarrassment to his majesty was his poorly conceived long-term alliance with Italy or as the Tsar now refers to this one time ally, "a rat without a hole to hide in". The Tsar is also declaring a national holiday in honor of the crushing defeat of the German Empire and that plans are already underway for a week long celebration for when Austria is put to the sword, which leaves one wondering what possible celebrations are being considered for when Italy is defeated??? Tur-Eng/Ita/Aus: England's last mail made clear you guys didn't take my arguments....so I'll proceed in the way I chose earlier. Tur-Rus: Hope I made the right decision! Thank you for sticking with it Alan, even when things turned nasty for you. Better luck in a future game. The deadline for Spring 1906 will be Friday 16th November at 6.00 PM GMT.
