From the Times of London: 'Spring 1914. There has been an appalling incident

with the shooting of the heir to the throne of Austria-Hungary in Sarajevo by

a terrorist said to be of Serbian extraction. Austria and Serbia are believed

to have exchanged Diplomatic Notes regarding the incident, and the Arch-Duke

has promised a 'War against Terrorism'. However general opinion suggests that

despite the earlier panics in that part of the Europe the event will pass

without further repercussions. Meanwhile in London, the Spring racing and

boating season is just starting, the ladies are thinking of their Summer

fashions already, and it looks to be a fine season ahead'.
